“Tom is the Man!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

We never go to Irish pubs. But we headed to this one for a table quiz on a Monday night. The place was rocking. It was a great table quiz. People book their tables in advance so be warned!!!

We had great craic and Tom, while having the thickest Cork accent while speaking German, gives the best tourist tips you could imagine.

Get into this pub have to grub find the lad from Cork and your holiday is sorted!

Great night. One of the best memories we have.

“Nice and relaxed atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We went there to eat and drink which is totally what we were expecting from that pub. Food is great, service is friendly and we were able to see a band that Friday night. A bit hard to find if you don`t pay attention, but overall a very good experience.

“Gourment PubGrub Experience at a fantastic price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

I visited the Isle of Innisfree with my wife recently. We wanted to have something to eat at a reasonable price and were not disappointed. The choice on the menu is quite big with a good combination of irish and german dishes from Irish stew to Wurst Salad and alsmost everything is under 8€.

I ordered the marinated chicken salad which was tasty, dressed with a delicious homemade dressing, while my wife had a homemade asparagus 'Flammkuchen' which she thoroughly enjoyed. The Guinness was cold and tasted as good as back home and my wife had a refreshing 'Hugo' , a popular summer drink, recommended by the friendly waitress.
Afterwards we enjoyed live Music which was entertaining and free. Overall we were very impressed with the service, value for money and of course the central location. Its not your typical Irish Pub, but the high arched roof inside this historic building gives it a special flair and the irish guy behind the counter more than made up for the lack of Irish feel to the place. Would return in a hearbeat!

“Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

Friendly staff. Great drinks selection. Live music. The place was 'hopping' ! Not to be missed. Lovely decor...Irish / Celtic crests painted onto walls. This is the place to go to, especially if you are on a weekend break . Great , lively mixed crowd.

“Great place to spend an evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

We went to the pub last night for dinner and really enjoyed our meal. I had the fish and chips an it was delicious. We got there at about 7:45 and there weren't a lot of peep there, but within half an hour it was full! So get there early to get a table. It's very affordable and there are all sorts of happy hour discounts, so check those out. They speak English and there's a real Irishman who conducts bingo on Sunday nights. There are all sorts of events on other nights. Great ambiance and food, I loved it.
