“Average Bavarian Food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

I live in Germany, so have gotten to experience a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately, the food here is marginal and overly priced. The beer of course is GREAT. I had the beer soup which was literally French Onion Soup without the cheese. It was marginal. My meal was a roasted port with cabbage, gravy, and a potato dumpling..all marginal. The service was good for Germany but the food didn't make it worth while. I don't think I would come here again.

“Great place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

Very nice place, with great decorations in December- January. Very nice meat and smashed potato.
Prices are a bit higher, but it is a good value of money.

“Excellent Old-School German Food!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2012

Not only was the place decked out for Christmas with a pyramid and little decorations on every table, but the food was top-notch Bavarian classic!!!

I had excellent tomato soup followed by a kind of roast beef with yummy gravy, a giant dumpling, and cabbage. I wanted to get the apple streudel, but I didn't have room.

The waitresses are dressed in dirndls, which is touristy, but fun. I was alone, but I still had a great dinner. I'd definitely go back!

“Bayern food...sort off”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012 via mobile

Tries (too) hard on the Bayern theme. The food is good, nice dishes on the menu such as goose. I tried the wiener schnitzel, which was good. However, it is a bit on the expensive side. Staff is dressed in traditional clothing, and are very friendly.
