“What a spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

We had been travelling for a week in the Black Forest and had pre booked this hotel for its proximity to Baden Baden and Stuttgart. What a find, settled between vineyards with beautiful views and incredible staff. We pottered around having picnics in the forest and enjoying the fab local restaurants. You will definitely need a car, do what we did and rent a convertible it was the icing on the cake. The view from our room was picture postcard and of course there is a small balcony. The beds are uber comfy. Unfortunately no aircon(my constant bug bare). The food was good but I had had better on this holiday.

This is a very high-quality, friendly, and comfortable small/mid-sized hotel a short drive from Baden-Baden. I cannot recommend it enough. We had a very relaxing stay there, and the staff is helpful, attentive and warm. The hotel has cozy rooms with lively decorations, and a terrific restaurant. As a base for exploring the Black Forest and Baden-Baden, or simply as a place to relax for a weekend, this hotel stands out. I would go back anytime.

Room Tip: We booked a theme room and it was worth the extra money--very fun place.

This hotel is simply lovely. We had a wonderful night here on our trip through the Black Forest. We stayed in the Capaia suite which was fully equipped with everything to make our stay pleasant. The restaurant was delicious and the staff perfectly accomodating. The hotel is beautifully set in the hills around Baden Baden which makes it a bit difficult if you plan to travel back and forth to tour between the town and hotel- the drive is about 20 minutes. My only regret is that this hotel is not closer to our home and we will not be able to return again soon!

Room Tip: The Capaia suite is fitted out in a jungle theme with some fun zebra flourisges and a nuce balcony.

We had a wonderful time there. Very clean, delicious restaurant from starters to dessert. Location is perfect also, you are away from baden baden, in the vineyards, very close to the black forest. It has been a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Paying for A view is useless i think

This was our 4th stay at this medium size hotel. Every stay has been delightful. Frau Beck and her team manage to combine high standards with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. The buffet breakfast is just right and the restaurant offers an excellent dinner menu. The location on the edge of Neuweier, a village in the wine area near Baden Baden, provides an ideal base for walking in the local vineyards and forests. Another benefit (for us) is the fact that it is a reasonable journey by car from the London area within one day .

We spent our Anniversary weekend here were treated like royalty. My wife reserved the Chateau suite which set the mood nicely. We arrived in the evening and made a reservation in the dinning room for that night. Dinner was very nice, my wife had a wonderful salad and a filet of fish with lobster sauce, I had the snails and rump steak and for desert we had the cream brulee. The dinning room is very contemporary. Breakfast was very traditional and eggs were made to order! Spa room was nice we spent some relaxation time in the saunas. The staff even booked a message in Baden-Baden for us. It is a short 12 minute drive to Baden-Baden but we no troubles finding parking garage space. Look forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: Will need a car at this location. Hotel is in housing area.

Great hotel with a wonderful view. Spa products inside the room makes the atmosphere very, very pleasant. Close to the wine region where you can see lots of grapevines! Close to the city but in a quiet region of Baden-Baden.

Room Tip: ask for rooms to view the grapevines valley!
