The building is very photogenic and looks great when illuminated with coloured lights in the evening.
We arrived at noon on a Sunday and although the building was open, the tourist info centre was closed and the place looked very dark and dingy with minimal lighting. The spa water fountain was closed due to hygiene reasons so there was little to see and do in the Trinkhalle and it was a rather unfulfilling visit.
We didn't try the cafe which has lovely views over the gardens and some luxurious looking chesterfield settees to sink into whilst enjoying coffee and cakes
