A small intimate eating place hosted by a gracious owner and her competent staff. The fried foie gras appetizer is not to be missed-my regret is that I opted for the small portion. This gem was followed by a lamb shank, perfectly cooked to easily fall off the bone with juices flavoring the roasted potatoes and vegetables sharing the plate. The silky homemade creme brûlée and an espresso topped a perfect meal in a great location.

Made a reservation over the phone and we were well received. Service was excellent. The lamb dish and the caprese flammakuchen were great. The salad with chicken had a bit too much dressing which made it salty and the traditional flammakuchen with bacon and onions was also on the salty side.

Situated in the main drag of restaurants, this is a unique little gem. Known as 'grandmothers sitting room' it is not large so has a great atmosphere. The food was excellent and a twist on the local german food. Menus available in English so we knew what we were getting.
Wines expensive but good quality. Service by the owner and a young assistant was top notch. We will return and happily recommend to others.

The owner is very charming, speaks many languages. The food was delicious. We had Barlauch soup, Veal meatballs and Linguini with shrimps. Everything was cooked to perfection. Next time in Baden Baden, definitely coming back.

We came accross this place by chance. The inside is super cosy and the staff was lovely. We had some schnitzel and it was honestly the best meal we had during a whole week in Baden Baden. Highly recommend it.
