“Gorgeous museum”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

When we entered the museum there was an exhibition of the paintings of Emil Nolde. The entrance fee was 12 euros. Apparently this museum often has exhibitions on well-known artists.

The museum is accessible easily to anyone and is quite a nice building. If the price is too high you can always find another museum without going very far. That is the beauty of the Lichtentaler Alley!

“Lovely building...”

Lovely building. We saw the Matta exhibition. It is small but atmospheric. Expensive for what you get.

“A must for Matta fans”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

We had never seen Matta's work before but were blown away by the comprehensive collection of his work. Best to visit in the afternoon when the school groups are out of the way, as the wee ones can be a bit enthusiastically noisy!
