We went to Val d'Isere during off season in September, stopped into this restaurant to enjoy a beverage but stayed for lunch after seeing others enjoy their meals! We started with local saucisson and bread - delish, followed by our main meals. I had a beautiful salad with prosciutto, cantaloupe and some amazing chunks of goat cheese. It was so huge but very good so I pretty much ate it all! Our daughter has the French onion soup which has chunks of ham in it, it was also big and very good. My husband had a basic cheeseburger, served a gorgeous wooden platter with hand cut chips/fries, we couldn't keep our hands off of them!
All in all, successful, the waiters were very attentive and deserved the tip they got, i'd suggest this place to anyone - great views, very obvious and easy location.
I can't imagine how delicious their fondues, steaks and tartiflette would be come ski season.
