“Whoa.”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

We found the restaurant through trip advisor and asked our hotel concierge to book a table. There was a strange pause and we found out later that a few guests had complained about the service, so the hotel usually tried to offer alternatives. We insisted on booking and it was one of the best meal we've had in years!!

First, the restaurant is a bit outside the town, in a quite and peaceful location with views of the mountains. Great decor inside: a mix of cosy with subtle touches of design.

The sommelier was maybe a tiny bit too pushy at times and our waiter and bit dry, but nothing problematic at all. The dishes were divine: well presented, creative with the textures, colors and taste without being pretentious. Each mouthful was a true pleasure. And to top it off the Chef was very nice.

Fantastic service, fantastic food.
We can't wait to go back!

“Fabulous”

It isn't often that a restaurant reaches the standards attained by l'Atelier d'Edmond. There are superb views of the mountains from the dining room, the food is beyond first class: inventive, beautifully presented, and delicious. An excellent wine list, and utterly brilliant service. Overall if you have the opportunity to visit l'Atelier d'Edmond, you must take it. Fantastic!

“Nearly 5* but not quite”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

Ate at this restaurant on our chalet hosts night off and on the recommendation of the UK agent. First impressions from front of house, ie Maitre d' was that the place appeared a little on the stuffy side. We then had a cheerful sommelier who recommended some good, reasonable wine. Menu was not clear with regards to starters etc so we asked and again Mr Personality looked at us like we had two heads! The food was exceptional, albeit expensive, but I am a great believer in 'you get what you pay for'. Our experience would have been first class had it not been for the Maitre D' who I can only suggest needs to get booked on the next customer service course, it costs nothing to smile but hats off to our waiter Sebastian.

“Absolute perfection”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

Amazing food: very delicate, lots of flavours, incredible presentation. The decor is very nice: chic and discrete. The service is outstanding. The wine list is impresive and the sommelier's suggestion was spot on. Not the best place to have lunch if you are planning to ski afterwards.
