For a relaxing stop over on your journey, this is the place to choose.
The spacious, well appointed room we had on the garden side was perfect for the evening.
The pool is fabulous with wonderful views of the sky people on their paraponts floating around the stunning rocky mountain.
Our only disappointment was the lunch we had at a nearby restaurant, Le Comptoir de Sebastian - Avoid this place - slow service, terrible food and a bad tummy afterwards!
We would definitely return to Hotel du Lac though and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Maybe try a pool view room.

The location is fantastic and Talloires is a perfect base for a summer holiday. The room and the facilities were clean. The rooms are in need of updating. We booked a room with a double bed but it was two singles pushed together. This was really uncomfortable and not suitable for a couple especially at 149 euros per night.

I visited here with a friend to attend a friend's wedding. The hotel is in the most lovely of settings and felt incredibly peaceful. The lake is very close and there are a few places to eat and drink in the village. The room was very average but clean and large. The breakfast was an average, continental buffet, but the food was very fresh and there was lots of it. The poolside was lovely and relaxing and had a fab view.
Not a particularly special hotel, but it was a good stay.

This Hotel was ok. It was in a perfect location in the most beautiful area so ideal as a base to sleep. On arrival our receptionist was not very friendly and not very helpful. Our room was extremely basic and is in need of a big re-vamp! It was clean mind you, but was very small and dated. Little things like the toilet paper was not nice, and the main light in the bedroom is a strip light behind the curtain so not good at night! The bath needs a shower curtain as water was going everywhere. There was no air conditioning either so on a hot day would be unbearable. It's not cheap to stay here, so was expecting more, how ever the location was perfect. The outdoor pool area is quite nice and lovely views of the lake from the upper floors. Sadly we wouldn't stay again.

This was my second visit and I love staying here as it is very relaxed, in a great village, near cafe, post office and supermarket, with the beautiful lake nearby and a swimming pool too. Great place to stay when visiting the Annecy area. The only thing lacking is air conditioning in the bedrooms, but it is otherwise peaceful and homely.
