We have just returned from our holiday with Simon Butler skiing. It has been my first skiing holiday in the Alps and last time I skied was 15 years ago, so I was quite apprehensive.
The holiday we had was absolutely spot on. Simon Butler Skiing have a formula that works very well indeed. There is comfortable accommodation, excellent food, good social life and excellent skiing tuition that sees you through a whole week.
Position of the chalet is good, 2 minutes walk from the town centre.
Food and service are excellent.
Rooms are chalet style, comfortable and clean.
Skiing tuition is personalised. You will come back a better skier as a result. Guests are divided into groups by ability, groups starts from complete beginners to very advanced, which go off peast and through the trees and do high adrenaline stuff.
The ski tutors discuss each guests progress on daily basis and you will be moved up or down the group or stay where you are depending on progress. This way everyone is sufficiently challenged but not over challenged.
We have had massage with Vlady, which was excellent.
Overall, a lovely holiday. We have felt we were well taken care of and we were important guests, not just a number.
I would highly reccomend.

I see that the Antoine has won the 2013 Travellers' Choice Award. This is well deserved and all the positive reviews are spot on. We have stayed at both the Antoine and the Soleil d'Or and would not hesitate to recommend either.

Room Tip: We had a room at the front of the Antoine and were not disturbed by noise at all!

This was our first trip to Megeve and Chalet Antoine and we decided to stay there having heard nothing but good reviews. The welcome was warm, with the chalet staff going out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The food is excellent - a simple breakfast, delicious afternoon tea and a full three course dinner with wine was included in the price of the package. Bedrooms are comfortable, although the pleasant bar and the social interaction between guests meant that we didn't spend long in our rooms. Skiing in Megeve is scenic and varied and although this was a VERY busy week, we were able to find quieter spots (and some less expensive places to eat), guided by the expert skiers from the Antoine. Thoroughly enjoyed the ski race at the end of the week and improving skills throughout. Thanks to everyone for a fun week!

Our stay at Chalet d'Antoine was fantastic from start to finish! The staff was wonderful, the food (and the cakes for the afternoon tea) superb, the instructors were top class and the massage to die for. In short, we could not have been in better hands. I find the alps very expensive, especially during spring break, but I must say that I find that you get good value for your money at Chalet d'Antoine.

This was our first skiing holiday for our children and it exceeded all our expectations! The quality of service in all areas was exceptional and I would recommend this hotel to all. We cannot wait to go back again!
