“a ripoff”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2012

I went there with my boyfriend, not really the place for a romantic dinner.

Food was OK but nothing special and damn expensive! The place itself is nice for dinner in groups. But definitely not worth the price you pay.

“Cute and Huge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2011

We ate at this Paul Bocuse take on supposedly "Western" food, whatever that's supposed to mean. Anyway, it was quite good. But the clincher is the restaurant itself, built as it is within a decommissioned railroad station, with a nice outdoor patio for dining, and a model train that runs around the room at above-eye level. If you go in the early evening you won't need a reservation, but anytime after 8 PM you should call in advance.

“Glorified Pub Grub”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2010

My girlfriend and I had high expectations and were excited to eat at the recommended l'ouest. We found it to be average 'pub' style food at inflated prices. One entree was literally a plate of ham! The preparation of this dish would have been nothing more than shaving the meat. For any Aussies reading this who know of the 'hat' rating system back at home, this restaurant wouldn't even be considered. This is no more than pub food in a restaurant environment. FYI, our meal cost €145.
