We loved returning, after a hard day's sightseeing, to this exceptionally well situated and well equipped apartment. Lyon has many delightful areas; Vieux Lyon tops them all. If you go, try to choose the second weekend of September. By chance, we came out of the metro to find the largest and most spectacular ceramics fair we have ever seen. We enjoyed every moment of our time in Lyon, from the silk story (and a wonderful cheese shop) of Croix Rousses, to the Musee des Confluences where the two rivers meet - fantastic building, fantastic exhibitions. Do get a Lyon City Card - it's well worth it. Our thanks to our courteous hosts.
This apartment deserves all top ratings, but due to a mix up with another Lyon place with a similar name ("Renaissance"), a negative review got posted that skewed their results--what a shame, because: This apartment is lovely, tastefully decorated with touches of the Renaissance vintage of Old Lyon, with all immaculate, comfy bed, and fully stocked modern kitchenette and bath--even a convenient umbrella by the door!. Large sunny windows overlooking the courtyard restaurants lend it a cheerful atmosphere, and the hosts are fabulous: Patrick had his son help us carry the luggage up the stairs upon arrival, he came to personally check on us, and at departure he and Francoise invited us for coffee to their home.
Studio ideally located in the heart of the old town. 3rd floor of an old building with a narrow staircase. Fantastic room nicely decorated. The owners are great and extremely helpful. They will happily share tips and their best spots in Lyon. We had a great stay.
A charming small apartment in a small sqaure in Old Lyon, overlooking the district mairie. My exceptionally gracious host was there to greet me at the door, carried my case up the 50 steps to the flat, and provided an informative tour of the flat and advice on what to see in Lyon. The apartment has a bedroom/kitchen plus a well equipped modern bathroom. The facilities are very well organised, with everything you might need, from ironing board to umbrella, plus a useful selection of local guides and reading material. Excellent value for money!

A perfect choice in an ideal location in Vieux Lyon. Nicely appointed and clean with everything one could ask for.
Ideal location , just one street off the main tourist thoroughfare so a little quieter but still interesting enough to sit at the window with a coffee or wine and watch the world wander past.
Heaps of great restaurants and museums close by. Plus a great little Grocery shop and a wonderful gelataria about 20 metres away. Also a automatic coin laundry a quick walk away. 3 floors up the steepest and narrowest medieval staircase but wonderfully safe and secure. Perhaps not ideal for anyone with mobility problems or children but we just found it quirky.
Patrick and Francoise are exceptional hosts. They sent a friend to meet us and introduce us to the apartment and then Francoise dropped by later to introduce herself. Later we were invited to their own home for champagne and local cuisine.
Close to 2 Metro Stations and walkable across the Saone into the main town.
A quick 15 Euro taxi ride from the main Rail Station
A perfect little oasis and quiet. clean comfortable retreat after a busy day sight-seeing.
I would have no hesitation recommending this rental to anyone else and we would readily stay here again if we ever make it back to Lyon.
Merci Beaucoup Patrick & Francoise for making our stay in your lovely city so comfortable and enjoyable.

We have just returned from a 5-day stay over Easter at Patrick and Francoise' Cote Cour apartment and found it a perfect base for discovering all the delights of the City - both gastronomic and historic. An Ideal location for exploring old alleyway "Traboules", Bouchon Lyonais and the wider city. The studio apartment was quiet, being three floors up a spiral staircase, and comfortable. Patrick and Francoise were very helpful - even organising us a taxi to the station for our return. Very good all round!
The location of the apartment in the historic quarter of Lyon could not have been better. So many museums, restaurants, and shops in the immediate area. The owners were incredibly gracious and helpful in showing us the apartment and giving us restaurant suggestions. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed for a two night's stay. The stairs are quite steep, but that added to the charm of the historic location for us. Someone with mobility issues would definitely need to choose a different location.
