We found this creperie down a side street off the lovely Place de la Republique. The inside looks atmospheric, but we chose to sit outside away on a pleasantly warm evening. We were encouraged by the number of locals sitting nearby. We had the three course menu (less than 17 euros), washed down by good red wine (my friend's choice) and Breton cider (mine). The delicious cider was served in attractive wide mouthed cups like cafe au lait bowls.
The salads, savoury and sweet crepes were delicious (don't miss the salty butter caramel crepes). The service was warm, friendly and generous. For two with alcohol our bill was under 50 euros, yet we almost staggered away from the table from the volume of food we were given (and didn't refuse!). We left a good tip which was much deserved, because we felt that our server took genuine pleasure in serving us. A lovely evening in Lyon.
