As American's we consider ourselves to be well versed in the world of burgers. We've eaten them around the world and there are winners in many different countries and cultures. That said, the Burger and Wine burger gets the following notes:
Meat: Well cooked, good quality meat. Cheese (per burger type ordered): Good quality and tasty. Lettuce: I think there was supposed to be lettuce but we each got a 1x2 leaf piece each and therefore were confused by the intention. Tomato: Not great quality. Cheese Sauce (came on all burgers regardless of other toppings): A horror - overpowering and tasted like burnt, cheap wiz
Burger Summary: If the sauce was removed and lettuce/tomato ratio worked out this would be a good burger. That sauce has GOT to go though and should not be served on the burger period.
My last comment is that considering the name of the restaurant we sort of expected at least one "Burger and Wine" pairing on the menu. It could be interesting to even have wine pairings suggested for all burger types offered?
