A Parisian friend recommended we visit this charming little place during our five nights in Lyon. And we booked immediately via the Fork website.
Several days later we took a call from the owner/ manager to change the date as it was closed for summer break for several more days - the language barrier made for an awkward phone conversation. Luckily, we were able swap another booking - and thank goodness! This was one of our favourite meals in the Gastronomic capital of France!
We had Escargot, Lyonnaise salad (the most delectable version I have found during my four visits to Lyon!), steak tartare, a creamy soufflé/quenelle, and a blackberry tart in custard for dessert.
The restaurant is located a short, steep walk from the Museum of Fine Arts, and features gorgeous views, very friendly and accommodating staff. A charming selection of wines, and live music.
I heartily recommend, and will be back when I'm next in town!
