Quite a funky styled hotel, room basic(open planned cupboard), no mini bar or tea/coffee making facilities. No room safe, bed was comfortable and bathroom was a decent size, with all fixtures working. Shower pressure was good.
My third floor room overlooked the road, but because of the double thickess set of windows (one thick single glazed plus a double glazed window set back), the sound proofing was superb.
Air conditioning within the room did not appear to change temp, warm all the time, The windows albeit a little stiff can be opened inwards though.
Room was cleaned evevery day.
Access to the rooms is via lifts, which use personal access cards, both the lifts and room use the same access card.
The open planned dining area serves a good continental breakfast, meals can bought at other times of the day, however I dined somewhere for other meals so cannot comment on them.
If looking for places to eat out of the hotel, go through the train station concourse and out the other side of the station, there are around 2000 places to eat within walking distance. All are either between the station and the Rhone river, or a little further onto the peninsula between the Rhone and Saone rivers.
Both checking in and checking out was a smooth process, with nice friendly staff.More
