It's nice to stroll around this area and this building is really beautiful, you must pass around this area if you visit Lyon.
A beautiful building in itself. Buried in the urban center, it seems more suited to be surrounded by gardens than surrounded by streets. Worth a detour if you are going to Beaux Arts.
I walked by this place during the day a few time and it is pretty nice. Take a look on an after dinner walk when the light are on to get the full appreciation.

Very nice place, the historic rooms are very impressive and we understood why it is known as the most beautiful Hôtel de Ville in France. Visits are saturday only and have to be booked at the tourist information
