“Lovely stay in Grenoble Historic district”
Reviewed 3 weeks ago for a stay in June 2018

We had a lovely time in Daniel's apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and had a cozy atmosphere with the fireplace. The kitchen and bathroom were extremely up to date with every amenity and appliance you could ask for, we are Americans and it was very similar to what we are used to at home. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable with excellent linens. There is an excellent boulangerie/bakery just to the left and across the street that we visited daily for warm croissants. We tried 4 boulangeries in Paris but none were as good as the one on Daniel's street. The chocolate shop next door was also exceptional. There were so many restaurants and bars to choose from within just a block or two. The large market was just around the corner as was the metro station. Grenoble is beautiful settled in the valley of the mountains. You should visit and you should stay at Daniel's place. It will make you feel like you live there.

Waouh, what a review. Many thanks Kim. And I'm so glad you enjoyed the same good croissants across the street that I myself used to go for. And the open market ... Yes, the area is great and I love it myself.
I hope you had a nice flight back home and that you'll visit our nice city again.

“Attractive apartment in the heart of the old city.”
Reviewed July 24, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

My wife and I rented this apartment for five nights in July. It is in an old building and has been updated very nicely. The appointments are attractive. The kitchen had all of the utensils we needed. The old town, including an amazing old-style market, is just outside the door. The owner was out of town, but he arranged for another person to get us into the apartment; she was very friendly and helpful. The weather in July was very hot, but the apartment remained cool. This apartment is one floor up from the street; the one slight problem we had was the narrow stairway -- old style, with narrow, pie-shaped steps. We loved our stay.

“Grenoble Gem”
Reviewed November 30, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

First, the owner, Daniel was most professional, patient (when we missed a train and had to wait for us to check in), personable, and accommodating. The apartment is in a perfect location. We we visiting our daughter who was studying abroad. It was perfectly located and all communication was with ease and courtesy. There are plenty of things to do, places to dine, and sights to see. On our first day, Daniel helped arrange a time for lunch for us. The apartment is charming. It had some antique pieces and a comfortable layout. All one needs for a comfortable stay is included. We felt like a local after the first night! Daniel, thank you again for a great stay. Best wishes to you and yours!
Kelly and Charles.

“Cosy and comfortable apartment in central Grenoble location”
Reviewed September 13, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We (3 adults) spent a couple of days in this cosy and comfortable apartment which is located in the central but quiet part of the old city of Grenoble, restaurants, shops and markets were really close. The apartment was very clean. Kitchen and bathroom were renovated and modern. The kitchen was well equipped. We felt like at home. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He speaks fluently English, communication was easy. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

Hello Peri,

Many thanks for your review. You perfectly pointed out the pros and cons of the appartment. Indeed, the busy and noisy street could be a drawback, however as well as a distraction, watching the schools children running out at the end of the day, and the activities of the many antic shops around. And since you had such a nice and smooth weather during your staying, you wished to open the front window! What I don't recommend during hot Summer or cold Winter time.
I do hope to see you again and wish you again a Happy New Year.
Daniel
