currently stayin here for 14 days with work, a kitchen with fridge cooker, microwave and dishwasher, plus internet makes the place like home from home. However english speaking tv channels are none existant. BBC Word and Sky News, end of. really clean and modern with parking which is a must in this parking nightmare of a city.

Room Tip: i have a 2 person studio, which is great

The pluses: Clean and comfortable rooms with convenient kitchen space, microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Manager Isabel stood out. they recommended nice places to visit and eat, and readily printed out directions and gave maps. Reasonably priced laundry (5 euros for washer, detergent included.) Tram station and line right outside. A very convenient and inexpensive way to get around. Free wired internet in rooms and free Wifi in the small lobby.

The quirks: Free room cleaning and housekeeping only once a week, and 12 euros extra for additional cleaning. Rooms vary widely in size. The ones facing the main road and tram line are smaller, with Murphy (pull down beds) and some tram noise can disturb light sleepers. The ones on the other side are better and larger, and they have two large one bedroom suites on each of the three floors for about 30% extra payment. Toiletries are limited to a combo liquid shampoo and body wash in large containers - no freebies to take home. You can enter the hotel including the reception (or drive into the front in your car) only with a hotel key though the staff can buzz you in, e.g., when you're first checking in. Their phone system had problems during our stay but hopefully that was a one-off.

Other facts: They offer a pretty good hot buffet breakfast with an attentive attendant for 10 euros per head. We just brought our own groceries from a store 2-3 blocks away. Car parking with in and out privileges is 10 euros per day. There's street parking around the back and the sides though it looked quite tight. The area north of the hotel (where most action is anyway) is nice and safe. Someone said the parts south are a little questionable after dark though it looked fine to me.

It's good value and overall we were very satisfied.

Room Tip: Go for rooms (50% of the total) on the back side, away from the main tram line and Marcelin Berthelo...

This hotel was organised for me through a big conference at the Alpexpo centre south of town but I couldn't have done better if I tried!
The location was ideal, on the tram line between the city and the conference centre with a few decent shops and cafes close to the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and professional, especially at the front desk which was much better than I was expecting. They fixed a couple of minor problems immediately. This was particularly impressive as the hotel was completely full due to the conference coinciding with the Tour de France stage at Grenoble!
The room was really clean and the kitchenette (with dishwasher!) a real bonus as we could do a couple of meals in the room using the local patisserie. I was travelling with my 12 yr old son and he loved the room too. We were OK for internet in the room as I was travelling with a laptop and could plug that in to give us wireless for hand-held devices.

Nicely appointed, clean and friendly staff. We stayed one night in a studio. It was fairly small but well equipped. We had a view of the mountains. We made our own dinner and breakfast and found the facilities very good. T
It's a little out of town, but there is a tram stop right outside which takes you straight into the centre so the location is good.
I would recommend.

The Adagioi Aparthotel is a bit out of the centre of Grenoble but right in front of a tram stop so easy to get to. We had an 2 bed apartment which could sleep 4. The small kitchen and separate sitting room were a bonus. The staff at reception were friendly and my only complaint about this place was that the wifi didnt work in the rooms, but was available in the reception area and breakfast room and they had cable connections in the rooms for laptops

The staff was very helpful and friendly and offered us suggestions for restaurants. They couldn't have been better. The room was typically small by US standards but was clean and everything worked. We did find the bed that comes down from the wall sort of funny but it was very comfortable. They do this of course to open the room up for more space. The Internet service was included in the room rate. Our wireless didn't work but the wired access was fine. The location is great because in front to the hotel is the tram that transports visitors to the old town and museums. We liked all of these things mentioned and would recommend this hotel to others. The only thing that was negative was the tram is rather noisy so with the front window open it can be unsettling . Also, if people waiting for the tram are smoking you can sometimes smell the smoke drifting in to the room. A room in back of the hotel would eliminate this problem.
The hotel breakfast room was unusual because every time the waitress opened the metal door between the kitchen and eating area there was a big bang as it slammed shut. It made us want to eat up and get out of the dining area.

Room Tip: side or back rooms would eliminate the tram noise
