When I found out I was going to spend some time in Grenoble, France, I knew that one of the things that I really wanted was to taste some of that famous French Cuisine that I had heard about so often...I tried several restaurants, and enjoyed some of them, but I really fell for the food at the AS DE PIQUE. I went 4 times, and each time I had something different -"blanquette de veau", "magret de canard sauce aux cèpes", or even "hampe sauce aux morilles" (for those who are wondering, "la hampe" is beef) ... Everytime I went, the meat was perfectly cooked, the veggies were fresh and crunchy, the wine was delicious and I loved the particular cosy atmosphere. The owner is a handsome rugby player who loves to see people enjoy his food. That's very French too, to love food so much...like it's an Art...So look no more, go to L' As de Pique -Be there, or Be square!!
