I arrive their late at night. Couldn't find first the hotel, than I got a room that was clean but very smelly. I wouldn't go again. Luckily I was there for only one night. .............................

This hotel seems v new, in what seems to be (by its name) a renovated historic barracks, and is situated in an area which is clearly well underway with a transformation into a pedestrian/people-friendly part of the city. The style is very modern and chic, and the receptionist could not have been more helpful or friendly. The room was very spacious indeed, sparkling clean And very well equipped indeed including the kitchenette area which is the best we've had in this style of hotel, even includes dishwasher & microwave. Free wifi is a bonus! easily accessible by bus no 13 or 32 or combination of others including trams. Plenty of places to eat all around including supermarkets if you're using kitchenette facilities to full. Good value esp if you book well in advAnce. Quiet and relaxing break. We will try to visit others in their chain in France.

Although the rooms are clean we found this an awful place to stay. After a week of wonderful skiing we arrived to an unhelpful front desk. There is no parking with when arriving by car and no ability to get to front door. We had large ski bags that we had to carry from streets away after having trouble finding a park. The taxi had a button to press to put bolards down but this s not avaiable to guests we were told. Incredible! The duplex room stairs are steep and not possible to carry suitcase upstairs safely.

The hotel is located in an absolutely new building, which is a part of a recently renovated residential block. It doesn’t offer a private parking, but a local mall nearby has a parking, which anyone can use for a fee, and if you are lucky enough you could possibly find a place for your car directly on the streets. The service is perfect, the rooms are clean and we can’t think of the slightest complaint. The only minor inconvenience could probably be the hotel’s position: it is surrounded by rather narrow streets, it’s location is far from beeing obvious and it takes about 15-20 minutes (on foot) to get to the old town.

Stayed here one night with my brother, this was the best of 3 hotels we used during our stay in Grenoble. This place is in the popular French ‘apart-hotel’ style – a self catering/hotel hybrid.

Good:
-A nice residential area with a small supermarket a couple of hundred yards away, city centre is a 10 minute tram ride away, tram stop is 5 minutes walk and the network offers easy access to the centre and outlying areas.
- Rooms large and furnished to a truly excellent standard for the price.
-Kitchenette was excellent and included a half width dishwasher with a couple of wash tablets provided, great.
-Living area completely separate from bedroom area – big plus for this style of accommodation.
Lounge area sofa bed very comfortable to sit or sleep on.
-Contrary to other reviewers, I found the reception staff polite, helpful and good fun!
-WiFi signal and speed were very good.
-Nice view of the Alps from our window.

Bad/indifferent:
-A strict ‘one room, one login’ policy on WiFi – this is a pain in the neck.
-We found the location fine, but it might be a bit of a trek for some to the central area of town on foot.
-Breakfast is acceptable but I feel it was pretty over priced, would take some nice coffee sachets and buy something at a local patisserie if I stayed again.

Overall, I would highly recommend.
