Visited Evian and visited this restaurant, we were asked if we had booked, we had not. But a table had nearly finished. We waited about a couple of minutes and were shown to our table. Only one menu, we had fish terrine, which was very nice, chicken and mushroon main meal and fresh fruit salad. Two glasses of red house wine - all excellent! Staff friendly, food great. Price 3 course 15 euros each and wine 3,20 a glass. Would recommend booking as 8 people were turned away as we had our meal. RECOMMENDED. as we were given bill, with a card and a small wooden peg with a wooden ladybird on. A LOVELY EXPERIENCE March 2014

Have just returned from dinner, made reservation based on Trip Advisor suggestions, but on a Tuesday evening in October the restaurant was not overly busy. Menu was small but perfectly formed, our dishes were all quite simple but beautifully cooked and presented. The waiter was friendly and attentive, genuinely interested in our comments. Prices were very reasonable. All in all, a great evening.

We stopped by to have dinner. The waiter said that they were fully booked and there is absolutely no way for us to wait. Two tables were unoccupied, with one even not covered. We were almost pushed out of the door by him. Le non de restaurant doit être changer

Bonjour Madame Katyushan,

Thanks for your kindly understanding.

This restaurant truly deserves its high ratings. The young chef is visible often during the dining experience, visiting the guests at the tables and discussing the dishes. He speaks good English. We had an appetizer of local crayfish (craw fish) served in a two part glass bowl with crayfish in the top bowl and a salad of apples and tomatoes in the lower bowl. It looked very unusual, but worked great together. The faux gras was delicate, mild and delicious. We also had a tender fresh local fish and organic duck breast. As a finish we shared a dessert first and then shared the cheese plate. There is a good wine list with 500 ML selections, so the wine can easily be pared with the food, without over drinking.

We visited during the preseason in June and the restaurant was not open every day. Please check for opening hours, so you are not disappointed by finding the restaurant closed upon arrival, as we were. Reservations are even better, since there are only a few tables inside and about four more outside during good weather.

We went to this place for dinner but since they were fully booked, we couldnt find any place.
However, the way they told us they are full was very unfriendly and disrespectful.
I was so upset about the arrogance that i write a review the first time of my life.
Doesnt matter how good the food is, welcoming customers need to come first!
