The accomodation was well equiped and very well tought off and very easy to keep clean. The secured car park was very handy. The area of Courchevel 1850 is worth visiting especially in the winter as it is virtually where all the slopes are. In the summer it is nice for biking, hiking and walking. Strange openning times on almost everything though. We went for a week at the end of August and apparently the summer season was about to end in the next few days after our departure and there were almost no tourists left. Courchevel area is very expensive even in the summer, yet the Carrefour convinience store in Courchevel 1650 may provide some reasonably priced groceries. The area of Lac du la Rosiere is a must go - one of the most beautifull picknick spots I've ever seen. Going with the lifts up the mountain top is another must! Petrol/Diesel available at Mercedes garage - the prices better then in the UK! To all the british visitors - learn some french - it'll come handy and you'll be in France at the end of the day!

Read many of the reviews, and after having stayed cannot understand it's position relative to others in Courchevel. It's position is literally a few hundred yards from the slopes, and ski hire shops in Courchevel 1850. It is possible that accommodation is cheaper in general in 1350, 1550, and 1650, but 1850 is he highest of them, and so are the prices which may be connected to the amount of Michelin starred restaurants in the village. That leads me onto another reason why this chalet is perfectly placed as a very reasonable supermarket is actually sited in the Forum along with the best value restaurant and very friendly owners who provide a very tasty menu which is frequented by locals as well.
The accommodation is spacious, with a flat screen tv, well equipped kitchen, stylish bathroom, and most have a balcony. The only criticism in our chalet was the cramped, rather dark loo next to the entrance door. Plenty of parking is available.
As for the problem of where to put your ski equipment and wet suits each chalet is allocated a locked heated locker with hooks for boots etc.
As for sorting out problems we didn't have any.

Room Tip: Rooms with views over the valley get the sun in the morning, if you want a bit of sun after skiing then you need to go on the street side higher up. The possible downside to that is that you can get some noise from deliveries etc to the hotels opposite.

I have been coming to courchevel on and off for 15 years and chalet du forum is the best location. Value for money in courchevel is good, but it does not compromise on location. The village des enfants is easily accessible and if ou are lucky you can see your little ones from your balcony. For the older kids, the forum has everything including ice skating, occasional hockey matches, bowling, rock climbing wall, bars and restaurants, laundry facilities, the medical center, bakery... It has everything for convenience. There is no shortage of celebrity spotting in the restaurants and of course you can walk everywhere. The hotel is minimal but modern. The staff are friendly and are accommodating. The key to making this te best holiday is getting you apartment right. They have a funny system but if you specifically want the number of bedrooms, make sure you research into it before ou book. We get the same units every year.

Room Tip: They count the living room as a bedroom, so if it says sleeps 6/7 3 room, that means a 2 bed with living room pull out and a under the bed pull out in on of the rooms. In some of the 3 bedrooms, the 3rd is a bunk room.

You can't really beat the location of these apartments, which is why we've been coming here regularly for the last 10 years or more. I hadn't been back since 2008 and it seems they've had a nice refit in the meantime, with much more stylish interiors while still keeping the rustic feel somewhat.
They are pretty tiny - space is a premium in Courchevel - but given how close they are to the shops and the slopes it's really worth it. Beds are pretty comfy, but not amazing, but are very clean. Our apartment had both a bathroom and a shower room and a separate toilet which was very handy for a family group. The free wifi worked across multiple devices but was horribly slow, but the bakery delivery service was a lovely new touch. The heated ski-lockers are a nice addition too - warm boots!
The cafe-bar in the lower level of The Forum (you pass it as you exit the apartments) does terrific pizza for take away or eat in, and their traditional savoyarde dishes are great, and the best value in 1850 by a long shot. The Cafe de La Poste alongside the forum is one of the last basic local restaurants left in the upper village, and the complex has a lovely bakery (from where the daily deliveries come) and a good supermarket. Very handy for self catering families or groups of friends.

We stayed at Les Chalets du Forum for 7 nights, a big shock upon arrival was to notice that our room was extremely small versus our expectations. On web site it says 5/6 can sleep! yes but how? is it possible in one bed room apartment? Well you have to be ready to sleep 4 in one sofa bed and 2 in another one> share one toilet< and single bath room. Big disappointment of the size and cleanless of the apartments, should be ok for youngsters because of good location close to bars, centre of action of Courchevel, but not for people who expect little bit of descent comfort and cleanless. If you are lucky there is a chance you get larger apartments ! In summary that is what you get at that price levels at center of expensive courchevel 1850 , Value for price OK but ask for exact location and decription before booking, stay away from noisy side...

Room Tip: Choose 1st floor apartments , 2nd floor ceiling can be low, O level is noisy,
