An excellent hidden gem, definitely worth the walk!
We walked down in slushy snow with the walk there the easiest following a short bus trip from Courchevel Moriond up Belverdere in the shuttle bus to first stop.
The lake has crystal clear water running through it and then down the valley it goes. Work is underway building a lake crossing though currently suspended due to winter weather and snow. It will look good once work is complete.
If one likes to venture off the beaten path, snow shoes are a must and one needs to be aware of avalanches.
Really good walk to stretch the legs in the afternoon as the weather warms up and the snow in the afternoons becomes slushy and sugary.
Look forward to returning another day!
