The location of this apartment is fantastic. With two young children in ski school it is literally steps away from the ski school meeting place in the morning, which made the holiday so much easier & stress free. Also perfect for popping back for lunch at the apartment. It is literally steps from all the lovely restaurants and few mins from supermarket. The apartment has everything you need for a family holiday (even a slow cooker) and was very clean. John was very helpful & at the end of a text with anything regarding the booking. Will not hesitate to book again.
The location of the apartment is very handy for the slopes and the Ariondaz Bubble which takes you to the very heart of the Courchevel Valley. The area itself is extensive with a variety of differently graded slopes and travelling around couldn't be easier. Very possible to ski to Val Thorens and to the Orelle Valley and the routes can be varied to include black runs or to be based entirely on much easier runs. The accommodation is excellent with all mod cons, plenty of locker space and excellent heating.
Excellent location of the apartment with a number of cafes and shops around. It has everything that's needed for a comfortable accommodation, we especially liked the wooden mezzanine floor bedroom, which made the apartment really cozy. View from the the balcony is gorgeous! Owners are quite responsive and give good advice. For me the best sign of a good and worthy place is opinion of our 7-year-old daughter - when we were leaving it after more than a month stay, she 'hugged' the walls and said 'i will miss you'. This vacation in Courchevel was the best in our family's life, and the apartment was definitely part of that impression!
We needed a rental for a lengthy stay during the off-season, and this place was everything! We had a working supermarket nearby and a good kitchen with quality cookware and everything we needed. There was even pasta, lentils and hot chocolate and herbal tea waiting for us. We moved in late in the evening, and we wouldn't stay hungry in case everything was closed. The hot water was running well, the water pressure was good. A nice bath, new towels.
The top floor was a cosy sleeping nook with enough storage on the shelves. Very good lighting - well thought through. Perfect space planning - they got the most out of a small apartment, it didn't feel small at all.
We are a family of three, our daughter is 7, and this space was just right for us. There is a small balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Very often we could see a big bright rainbow across those mountains - I've never seen a sight like that, but with those low Alpine clouds and sun shining through, you get the most unbelievable view there.
The wifi worked perfectly. We had a few neighbors, but it was peaceful and quiet at all times. Easy parking. A lovely picnic terrace across the street - had our breakfast and did yoga there quite often.
On cold days there is a very good warmer. The only thing we were lacking was a washing machine, but we could drive to a laundromat, so not a big problem.
We felt very lucky about that place. Even during the off season that place was very convenient. There were a few shops open walking distance away, so we could always get groceries and fresh bakery goods. There is an escalator shortcut to get to Aquamotion, the swimming pool/spa park, but we never used it, since we were driving - and it's a quick ride anyway.
So, overall, great location, good quality rental, nice and cosy with everything you need - there were even some board games, books, DVDs for entertainment, but we were too busy to use them. Everything worked. It's a small space, but very well arranged, so it's all comfortable. I'd love to stay there again.
This apartment has been recently re-furbished & makes the most of the space available. The decor is fresh & uplifting. The location is perfect for accessing the ski lifts, town, restaurants, nice walks along the valley side, and has the benefit of being on the quiet side of the apartment block. There is a small balcony with lovely views down the valley. If travelling by car, the car park is really close to the apartment. For skiing its so easy to get straight onto the snow. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday or energetic ski trip! The owners are so friendly & helpful, with lots of useful info provided on their website & info pack. We have stayed several times - it is perfect year round for anyone who loves being in the mountains.
I have lost count of how many times we have stayed in this apartment over the years - Our family have been regular visitors to Courchevel our focus being to ski/board. This recently refurbished sensibly priced apartment ticks all the boxes for a family holiday base in 1650 - the location is ideal, plenty of space to store skis/snowboards on the ground floor, close to shops, great restaurants and the gondola plus only a short walk down to Aquamotion. The apartment itself is well planned making good use of the space available. I always enjoy breakfast on the little balcony in full sunshine every morning with spectacular views. WiFi is a bonus but does make it a little trickier to get the family up and out of the apartment but they are quiet whilst at "home"! Its a big thumbs up from us and I would give it 5 stars if it had a lift - younger folk need not worry!!
A compact, comfortable and well equipped apartment within easy access to the slopes, the shops and to the free bus service (called the Navette). An ideally situated apartment with good views, good facilities and an abundance of hot water for that "must have" shower to relieve any aches and pains after a full day's skiing.The newly built Aquamotion leisure centre is within walking distance and is also on the free bus route just below Courchevel 1650. Fantastic facilities all round.
