I travelled with a very large group with Ski Total. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is good value in a very pricey resort, and is just a few minutes walk from the main lifts.
The food was amazing, Olly the chef is very talented and should really be working in a 5 star restaurant! Every night we were served delicious 3 course dinners which everyone enjoyed. The wine was ordinary but very drinkable. (you could buy higher quality wine if you wanted to) Breakfast was very generous with lots of choice and couple of hot options too. Hot drinks were available all day.
The common areas are warm and cosy. The bedrooms are basic but very clean. We had a triple room for two and there was plenty of room. The mattresses were really comfortable. We had a room on the back which was quiet all night. (though you can hear noise from other rooms, if people are chatting/banging doors) There was plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower.
The atmosphere in the bar was great and the staff kept it open as long as there were people there. The prices were reasonable compared to the rest of the resort, and there were happy hours and other drink offers.
Putting on heated ski boots was a real joy in the morning. The ski/boot room is minute but there's plenty of room in the lounge to get ready.
The staff were very helpful in arranging alternative meals on the chef's day off. We opted for a pizza delivery - others went out for a restaurant dinner.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to people who want a relaxed, friendly hotel, nothing too upmarket, with great food and people.
