“Good food but very average & slow service.”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We arrived early for lunch without a reservation but this wasn't a problem. Service was a bit slow to start with as they were just getting started for the day but once it started to get busy the service was very slow and very indifferent - especially to non French speaking patrons or anybody not wearing fur!! Food was good but not good enough to wan to go back a 2nd time. Much preferred lunch at Le Chalet de Pierres which cost us about the same price but the food was much better and service excellent.

“"The Lunch spot"”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

When the weather is good and the sun is shining the terrace is the best place to have lunch on the slopes. The ambience is great with a live DJ playing.
Its pricey food ok but the Desert buffet is worth every penny. If your skiing in 1850 its the place to have lunch, book in advance specially for weekend bookings in high season.

“A courchevel institution!”
Reviewed April 18, 2012

Located on the piste right by the altiport, this place has clearly been here for a long time. In good weather, the huge outdoor terrace is awash with skiers and non-skiers keen to blow masses of money on (pretty good) food and drinks. It is great fun, with a DJ playing good music. If the weather isn't so good, the interior is cozy with rowing memorabilia (from UK!) on the walls. There's a lovely menu with daft things like truffle pizza, truffle pasta - in fact anything you want with truffles! The wine list is possibly Courchevels best and you can spend as much as you like with Jeraboams of premier cru available - or stick to water as I did - it's a bit cheaper. Service is ok. Bascially, if you're skiing in Courchevel, don't miss out on this place. It gets really busy so book ahead. Puddings by the way were out of this World!
