Just returned from a weeks stay with Le Ski @ Chatel Rikiki. As I based my booking of these reviews I felt compelled to write. On balance this is a really great place to stay; the host Dave, Megan and Emily are all stars. Le Ski (did not see much of them as ski hosting had, following a court action, been cancelled - not Le Ski's fault) seem to run a well oiled business; flights and transfers were excellent - even managing to ski of the day we arrived - real bonus! Chalet is 5 mins up the hill from the town, but this is an easy walk. Food was superb, good wine flowed very freely. Chalet just of the piste, skiing back to the chatel door possible if enough snow; short uphill walk.
It is worth noting that the chalet has a very significant number of returning guests, whilst a positive also means that it is a little 'clicky'. That being said everybody was delightful.
Slight negatives - the room was quite small but bearable, the chalet was very hot, we seemed unable to turn of the heating in our room, room was tended to daily not would describe it as serviced. No breakfast cooked on the staff day off - expected to fend for yourself and 'clear up' on holiday - shock horror!
