Excellent - well worth a visit.
It is a friendly family run restaurant with bags of excellence.

Decor could be improved (ceiling tiles) but the overal experience, food and serbice are exemplary.

Driven past this restaurant on many occasions on our way to 1550. Decided to finally give it a go. Why did we wait so long. Great menu, fabulous friendly staff who were attentive but not over bearing as so many are.

Great value for a Michelin starred restaurant.

Will definitely be back!

Well this was a find. In Courchevel you usually go up the mountain to find the good restaurants. Azimut bucks the trend by being lower down the hill in Le Praz.
It’s small and completely unassuming in the very best possible way.
It’s not family run but the team running it treat each other like family.
The service is super friendly and personable. Attentive without being intrusive and each dish is served in a perfectly orchestrated fashion.
We all opted for the set menu as each course looked fabulously tempting.
If you watched Masterchef, The Professionals and wanted to experience the standard of preparation, presentation of excellent ingredients beautifully cooked then Azimut is for you.
Highlights for us were the beetroot purée, duck, honey ice cream and rice pudding (yes seriously, it’s amazing).
At c£65 a head including wine ( and what a wine list) it was a lovely treat. Try the same in 1850 and you’ll pay several times the price.

It is wonderful to stop a Le Praz to have lunch at Azimut, no doubt one of the best in town. The best deserve not the second or third star but the fourth if possible!!
