We had a wonderful meal here to mark the end of a holiday in Chamonix. The service was superb, only bettered by the food of course. The standard of food was incredible, it is difficult to chose a favourite course as the mackerel, the local fish, the beef, all were amazing.... An extensive and varied wine list allowed us to chose the perfect accompaniment. For what we got, this was great value for money and we would thoroughly recommend it.

Make sure to check out the €20 lunch menu ! It's a steal. You get a fantastic Michelin star meal for a fraction of the cost of the "à la carte" menu. Some tasty "amuse-bouche" before you get your main course and dessert. I recommend going for the cheese trolley instead of the dessert though as the selection is brilliant.

Restaurant is part of a hotel but nothing to comment about table layout or ambience. Service staff were courteous and spoke english. We had the beef and lobster as mains but felt that we tasted better food at other restaurants. For the price point vs food quality, I agree that are other options in Chamonix.

We selected the 3 course menu and it turned out to be 8. Service was excellent and the food beautifully presented. A great place for a celebration.

There is no way this restaurant deserves the coveted Michelin Star.
We were one of the first guests to arrive at 7:30pm there were mostly empty tables at this point, yet they sat us in the corridor by the bar. It felt we were getting the bar menu. So I asked to move and they then put us in an even worse spot against a wall by the bread and drinks station.
Eventually we got to the table we should have had all along (if we had been locals who might be coming back) only after I raised my stress level at the miserable woman who was rolling her eyes at us.
Then the food: Totally unmemorable - I really struggle to remember that we ate, except the stale bread rolls that you could have broken the window with.
At €280 for 2 people with an aperitif at €15 each I felt it was a waste of money and would have eaten better at the Italian restaurant round the corner for less that half the amount.
