We stayed for four nights and had an awesome time. This hotel is by far the cleanest and one the loveliest places I've stayed at.

Rooms: super clean, small.
Bed: clean and comfortable.
Bath: clean with nice water pressure (shower stall).
Staff: in simple terms, know how to host
Internet: believe hotel has a 5mbps line, but during rush hour (5-8pm) it could get slow. No signal issues.

Notes: You get the sense that the hotels wants you to think you're staying at a good friend's place.

Room Tip: This is an old building, so the hallways and the rooms are small, but quaint.

We booked 10 rooms for our marriage and the treatment received was perfect. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and well designed. It didn't seem to be in a three stars hotel but in a highest rate one. Take the breakfast!
I will stay here again.

The beds were comfortable, everything was new, fresh, and extremely well designed. The whole atmosphere was just very comfortable- and the staff were very attentive. Couple that with the reasonable price and very central location, and you've got the perfect hotel. Excellent hotel- would definitely stay there again!

Excellent hotel nestled in a quiet corner of Chamonix, across from beautiful church. Close enough for an easy walk to the Aiguille du Midi or town center but just far enough from the noise and bustle.

Nice building and very clean rooms. I booked a single room on both stays and was upgraded to a double. Despite reading reviews of 'tiny' rooms I found them more than accommodating enough for myself and a very large amount of climbing equipment!

Wonderful, polite staff. I accidentally checked in a day late but Maria was happy to take it off my final bill. Tania was very proficient, knowledgeable and always happy to answer my many questions!

Despite the close proximity to the Office of Tourism, reference shouldn't be necessary if you consult hotel staff.

Great value for money. The breakfasts are superb and mid day tea service is a very welcome sight after a cold day in the mountains. The complimentary macaroons, from local chocolatier, definitely come in handy on a long hike!

Sure to return on next holiday.

We booked this hotel as a result of the reviews it had received onliine, and were farly pleased we did. The hotel was very central, within 2 mins walking distance of the main street, which runs through the city centre.

When we arrived we were greeted in a very frendly manner, and this excellent service continued throughout our 4 night stay. We were given a top floor room, which meant our cases had to be carried up 2 flights of stairs. I have noticed other people complaining about this, but the offer was there to carry our cases for us, so people cant moan about that, if they then choose to ignore the offer. We carried ours, because we chose to.

The room was cosy, with not a huge array of space, however for us the size did not matter. We used the space to put our clothes and had no problems. As we had the top floor we had a fantastic view lf Mont Blanc, which was of course awe inspiring. What didnt help, was the thick layer of snow which inhibited our view slightly, but il never moan about too much snow. The shower was ok, but a but small, and i would imagine people of a larger persuasion may struggle in there at times. Other than that, the room as ok, with the standard expectations of a tv, soaps, clean towels etc. I would add, however that the heating appeared to be turned off during the day, which made us feel chilly in the room.

The breakfast was nice, with a fairly good spread of options. Certainly more than i would have at home anyway. We only had breakfast for one day, as an outlay of 24 Euros between us couldnt be justified. We chose to go to the patisserie around the corner for a croissant and a coffee au lait. We also thought it was a shame that there was no bar, which would have been nice.

If youre thinking staying here, i dont think you will be disappointed, especially for the low price. We paid 59 Euros. If you want a place to bang your hat, with great service and a central location you cant go wrong. If you want a hotel, with a bar and huge rooms, this isnt the place.

If a friend or family member booked this hotel, i would be pleased for them.

One last note...If you stay here, be careful of the steps. I slipped on the ice, and fell down 4 to 5 steps, which wasnt ideal!. However, I will not blame anyone other than myself as we were in the Alps and it was snowing, so I should have been more careful. Please be aware of this.

A well maintained modern property in the centre of town, steps away from the tourism office and maison de la montagne. The basic rooms are snug but elegant and the young staff at the front desk completely welcoming and helpful - and also perfectly bilingual with english. I found the prices a little steep initially but was won over by the service and the attention to details with the welcome gift (macaroons because we don't drink champagne), the hot pool and spa in the basement, ski room in the basement with easy access, and the afternoon coffee snack.

4th time in Chamonix, first at Le Faucigny.
The place is very well located, and as others have pointed out, still far from the noise.
It has recently been renovated and you can see that everything is new. The reception is cozy and the rooms are clean, but just a bit small.

Be aware that it has no elevators and the stairway to the rooms floor is narrow.
But that was no issue for us - we could carry our heavy luggage and if we couldn't have done it, the lovely lady at the reception - Tania - was ready to give us a hand. By the way, she and her colleague were always willing to help>

I would return for sure.

Room Tip: Ask for a Mont Blanc view - it's great to weak up and look at it even before going out of the ro...
