If you like boutique hotels, this one is for you: contemporary, relaxed, interesting design. It is located in the very centre of Chamonix, walking distance from the cable car to Aigulle du Midi. Clean rooms, perfect service, breakfast is OK. However, remember that this is an older building, which menas it is noisy - you can hear everything happening in the room next to you ;)

The hotel is close to the town centre and has just a handful of parking spaces, which must be pre-booked (not that this is noted on their website); otherwise parking is in the public multi-storey, 2 streets away. The décor and furnishings are contemporary. The rooms are functional and smart, but can be very small; ours was tiny, such that finding space to put your shoes on wasn’t easy and only one person can be in the loo/shower at a time; with just one small mirror over the sink and none elsewhere in the room, this can be problematic. It would seem that the rooms are designed for such as skiers who spend little time in the room. The absence of any visible bar detracted somewhat and there is only one public toilet, being adjacent to the office and you have to ask the staff for permission to use it! My wife thought it quirky and charming; I found it tiny and minimalist. You decide.

What a fantastic hotel!!! Excellent location. Very sylish decor. Free cakes and drinks in afternoon. Staff were amazing, we had problems with our hire car & the staff went beyond the call of duty & made numerous calls on our behalf to find a solution, cannot praise them enough! Highly recommended.

A very well appointed hotel in the heart of Chamonix. We stayed here for 10 days and had a very pleasant stay.

Our room was cleaned to perfection each day, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast, whilst a little pricey, was of a high quality (In fairness the breakfast at Le Petite Kitchen is better for less money but you have to wait until 10am - and we were in the mountains by this time most days)

We also got a free bottle of champagne and some complimentary macaroons - which are delicious (we went to the same store to buy some to take home - they do great cakes too)

There is one warning, this hotel is in the centre of Chamonix and therefore there can be noise in the night from those who may have had one too many glasses of fun juice.

I stayed one night before departing for 11 day tour de Mt Blanc. Hotel was very clean - The modestly sized room was very well appointed. Bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Nice tea in pm. I highly recommend this hotel.
