“The best dining experience available in Chamonix!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

Having been in Chamonix all week, we had become a little disillusioned at the dining on offer. Our hope to find modern French cuisine without feeling like a bucket of oil had been poured everywhere had so far not been successful. We visited this restaurant based on reviews on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The waiter translated the menu, and read me the specials as I had forgotton my glasses. He was very helpful throughout the meal, and attentive when required.
The food! Aspragus risotto and mackarel for entree, delicately seasoned pork and then fish with vegetables for main, and we both had freshly cooked peach tart with fresh mint from the kitchen garden for dessert.
I feel like this is an up and coming restaurant that will be always booked out once people discover it is there (it is not on the main street, so you would not look for it unless you knew it was there.
The whole bill came to 58E without drinks, but if someone had told me he was charging triple that I would have paid.

“Fabulous find in Chamonix!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

We had the most amazing 3 course meal at Le Revola tonight, it was so good that I had to write this review! We have been in Chamonix for 3 days and not had much luck with our meals. We were very happy to find this little gem, just out of the city centre but still walking distance. The decor was very modern and tasteful. The owner was very helpful explaining each dish on the menu to us in English! We both had the Asparagus Risotto for first course, followed by beef cooked to perfection and served with very tasty vegetables. The dessert was 'to die for' a crispy warm tart case filled with melt in your mouth chocolate and fresh spearmint ice cream! It is a shame it is our last night as we would eat at Le Revola every night. Try it you won't be disappointed and the price was very reasonable for the quality and service.

“Excellent French experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

Wonderful fresh food from the small menu. Excellent and helpful service, especially the extras as appetiser and finale. Atmosphere and decor was different and interesting. Tried both the fish and beef which were excellent. Good choice of wines up to some very high priced ones, but even the house wines were very good.
Highly recommended. We tried to book for the following night but it was closed.

“Great service and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2013

The food was good, however, the special beef entree was tough. The lamb was delicious. The service and atmosphere were superb. The menu is very limited but I would recommend the restaurant. Very professional operation but they must pay attention to the specials.

“I am no food critic, but I really loved this restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2013

With close-by free parking (the Montenvers parking), a very cool and smooth atmosphere (a change to the dusty old-fashioned Savoyard typical restaurants), and with a great "Menu du Marché" (only a bit let down by the dessert), I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant.
