A great choice for our week-long ski holiday. It is located close to everything, with easy walking to restaurants, the train station, buses and shops, yet it is still peaceful and quaint. The staff is beyond amazing, being both helpful and friendly while not being intrusive and overly present. The rooms were updated and modern but still had the cozy feel of a B+B. And a month later, we're still talking about the breakfasts! Everything was homemade or local - we looked forward to it every day. The storage unit for our ski equipment came in handy - and we had warm, dry boots in the morning. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of skiing, with beautiful views of the mountains. If we make it back there this summer, we will for sure stay here again!

Room Tip: We stayed a week, so we went with the mini-suite. It was spacious for Europe and well furnished. Eve...

We were looking for a central hotel so that we did not have to drive out in the evenings. We had a superb view of Mont Blanc from our bedroom - one could lie in bed and see it. The food was very, very good indeed - we paid for half board and this was really worth it. The staff were very friendly and efficient and had a welcoming manner. We could easily go back there again. Although it is only a two star hotel - and I suppose this is due to some of the facilities not being better - it is still excellent value for money, central, good views, friendly staff and excellent food.

Conveniently situated where it is easily accessible by any transportation and right by the town centre of chamonix, Auberge du Manor offers rooms that are clean and comfortable and warm smiles from the owners during our stay! The breakfast is also something not to be missed: the home made yogurt was my favourite! The owner made us felt like we had never left home during our 4-night stay there. It is a lot more personal and friendlier than a hotel but it also offers a lot more in terms of tidiness of the room, attention from staff etc than an ordinary B&B. The rates were reasonable for what we had received. It was also very interesting to learn a bit of the history of this establishment and all those cow bells!! Highly recommended to anyone who wishes to have a good rest after a day of skiing or hiking or simply just hanging out in the Mont Blanc area! You will feel welcomed and enjoy your time there!

I couldn't say enough good things about Auberge du Manoir. The B&B is very warm and inviting, and incredibly well taken care of with all the cute little details of a cozy mountain chalet. The staff are accommodating and attentive, the beds are great, the jacuzzi is clean and hot, there is ample parking and the ski storage is fantastic. And don't miss the breakfast.
Top quality in walking distance to everything.

We stayed 6 nights in Auberge du Manoir and we had an excellent experience. The hosts are more than welcoming. Rooms were very clean (rooms were spotless) and lovely decorated. We had a room with a balcony and it was very spacious. The hotel is situated in the centre of Chamonix, perfect spot for shopping, going out, close distance to all ski lifts and cable cars. We also got a lovely "goodbye" gift from or hosts. I'd strongly recommend Auberge du Manoir as an excellent choice in Chamonix.

Room Tip: Rooms with balconies are lovely and spacious. They have lovely Mont Blanc or Brevent view.

we atayed for three nights and fought the hotel was brilliant - we have stayed in the town several times but this is the best in its class and above - very well situated to walk into the town centre and adjacent to Sangland Ski hire and shop which was also very good and easy to find - Alison did a great job in sorting my tight boots!
Anyway Frederick in the hotel was very proud of his hotel and staff and the rooftop rooms were great with very clean modern equipment inc a fridge, excellent bathroom and a seating area apart from a good double bed. easy parking right outside and a two minute walk into the centre of town and easy access to the slopes - but Cham is always best with a car -we hired with Rhino.Com - agents for Alamo and got a great deal.
The breakfast was excellent and had meat cheese yogurt - homemade! juice coffee etc etc, also excellent Boot room for skis and keeping boots warm.
Could not fault this small family run Hotel.

I stayed at Auberge du Manoir for 3 nights with my husband after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. The rooms are small, but very well decorated. I appreciated the heavy heater fan in the bathroom to be able to warm up after a cold day skiing. The beds are very comfortable and rooms very clean and well maintained.
I think the highlight is the breakfast - They make the most amazing home made yogurt! The whole breakfast is definitely worth the Euro14 extra you have to pay.
Hotel is very well located - right next to the very big Albert Premier hotel, and next to a great ski shop for rentals. It is just a 5 minute walk to the center of town. We drove from Geneva, and parking in front of the hotel was very convenient.
The only thing that was slightly surprising a little was the lounge - we didnt spend any time there after skiing, and I saw a few people hanging out there, but it didnt really appeal much as a cozy place to sit.
I would definitely stay there on our next trip to Chamonix
