“Yummy Asian-Fusion!”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Our hotel recommended this place, and after seeing the good Trip Advisor ratings, we decided to have a gander. Even during the off season, all regular tables were fully booked and we sat at the bar. Just goes to show how popular it is. Owned and operated by Swedes, this place does some traditional French and other European and American dishes and fuses them with some delightful Asian flavors. The duck was amazing and the foie gras was creamy and perfect. The staff were very friendly as well! I would not hesitate to recommend Munchie to anyone.

“Does Asian fusion food very well”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

I love Asian food so this is probably my favourite restaurant in Chamonix. I've been to Munchies twice on separate trips to Chamonix and the quality was very consistent. I recommend one of their specialities, the duck teriyaki but, if you are in a group, as we were, a good option is to order a selection of starters and main courses and share. The sushi was good as was the salmon.

“tasty new school food in high quality”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

We went there twice during our vacation. Both times we had no reservation and were seated in the front area where it can be a bit chilly (it was in December). It is a very stylish restaurant, the atmosphere is great and the food was excellent. We can strongly recommend the salmon, it was one of the best salmons we ever had.

“A different meal in Chamonix ”
Reviewed April 7, 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed the food here, and would recommend anyone that likes Asian fusion to go -make sure you book in advance as we struggled to get a seat. We paid around €90 for a bottle of wine, 3 starters and a main.
The food is of good quality, and service is very good..and they didn't rush us out unlike some of the other local places.
