Although we had booked, there was no point, as the place was fairly empty and soulless.
Position wise this restaurant has everything going for it being right on the tourist trail by the Thiou river. Maybe that's the problem, as in high season I could imagine the place overflowing, given its position, the wide ranging menu, and quick service.
At the seasons end it just doesn't pass muster and complacency had definitely kicked in. Cheap and cheerful cafe style furniture and zero atmosphere, and a scruffy, quite surly waiter didn't help, although the food wasn't bad.
There are other much better restaurants in Annecy with similarly priced menus.
