Different to the corporate Ibis, this is an older hotel. We had a lovely large room, 2 balconies, and great views. However, there was no air-conditioning, so in temperatures of 30C+, this was uncomfortable at night, and it was difficult to sleep. One of the 2 lifts was out of action for all of our 3 day stay, and the second broke down each day. The breakfast was good, and the staff helpful. The hotel just needs some TLC

I reserved this hotel because from what I red in its description I understood is next to thermal hot water and close to the lake. Lamentably at our arrival we were informed the near by thermal institute was only for medical porposes and not for general public. To go to this one you have to take 2 buses. The same with the lake and the center of town, you have to take a bus. At least you get from the hotel a card to ride the local buses for free. Breakfast was reasonably

This isn't an especially glamorous hotel, but it meets all the basic requirements, offers easy access on the outskirts of town with plenty of free parking, and charges a very competitive price. Breakfast is a little on the skimpy side (no eggs or cheese), but all in all it's a fine place to spend a night.

One night stop over on the way home from ski trip.
Convenient, good value, nice breakfast included. Especially liked the fresh squeeze your own orange juice.
Criticisms only that kids bed was small for 2 to share.
Staff very friendly.

Great hotel for a night's stop over, however, the bar closed very early and no room service available also no tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Very colourful 'funky retro' colour scheme and very clean, a touch too warm during the night but comfortable beds.

Very friendly, helpful Staff.

Within walking distance of town centre.

Stayed here last year (2012) as a Mercure and found it excellent so decided to stay again on the way to 3V for skiing holiday this year. Thought it was good value then but even better now it's Ibis Styles. Excellent staff and fabulously large room!

we spent 1 night at ibis Styles Aix les Bains (booked two rooms, one double and one twin) end of december... like most of the ibis hotels we stay for 2 reason (smart price + simple + clean)... the ibis Styles Aix les Bains condition of the rooms were clean, had smart value price which also included breakfast and free car parking space. the reason i booked the hotel was because of the smart price and the fact that is offeredSPA access ( indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and fitness center) but it was actually part of the mercure hotel. they didn't speak english and were not so kind and had to ask the ibis Styles front desk to arrange a booking for us. but by the time we used the spa at 9pm all the water was out and the sauna was turned off.

the advantage of this hotel is that it's which is located near the lake, 10 mins drive by car from the train station. we took a car and had free car parking service. we didn't have time to drive around the lake but those who have time should.

they also offer free wifi access and also have free coffee, tea and crossistants for free in the lounge next to the front desk. all of the front desk speaks english and very kind and helpful.

the only minor part was the rooms are rather cold.... they should have stronger heater during the night during the winter..

Room Tip: would recommend to have a room on the other side opposite the main road.. as u can hear the cars by...
