“Open to the Public?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

In the later eighties, while on a Vincent Van Gogh study of St Remy, I happened upon a corner with a small and simple dwelling that had a simple plaque something along the order of, "Casa Nostrodomo". An elderly woman sat outside and noticed my interest and confusion. "Would you like to come inside and look around?"

Overjoyed at the opportunity, she showed me a thick inside wall dating back to the fifteenth century which she claimed part of the original structure at the time of his birth. I thanked her for the opportunity, and upon leaving thought that this simple setting deserved small museum status. Apparently it has reached that point in time. Good move.

“Nostradamus once lived here”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

This was just a house that Nostradamus once lived. There really is not so much about this place. But what i enjoyed is the trip towards it. We were on a tour bus and we came from Arles. The route towards Saint Remy was very scenic and i just loved the rustic and small town atmosphere. It was a sunday and there weren't much locals around. I would love to come back someday and stay longer.
