We've just returned from a fabulous two week vacation in Europe, of which we spent a week at this stunning location in Provence. As other guests have said, this is such a beautiful location, with massive, spectacular gardens, beautifully maintained, gorgeous restored French farmhouse style accommodations, but with all modern conveniences, and a short walk from the charming and typical Provence town of Saint Remy de Provence. My party of four stayed as part of a party of 22 - of US, Canadian and British origin, and we had a fabulous time. The owner, Aline, could not have been more pleasant, and was at pains to ensure that every detail of our stay was spectacular. The property is divided into three houses, each with its own gardens, although they can be connected by opening garden gates in the event of a larger party like ours - we split two of the three houses. Each house had its own gorgeous, well-maintained pool, a well-equipped kitchen, and charming bedrooms of various configurations, most of which had ensuite bathrooms. Our house had a large dining and sitting room, although we congregated as a party in the separate building in Le Petit Hammeau for our meals. The weather was spectacular, although even Aline probably can't guarantee that. Virtually all of the rooms had very effective air-conditioning, and all of the facilities were top notch. Other guests have mentioned the cleaning as a negative. In our case, we had help from a couple of lovely, helpful young women (May and Mareva) for cleaning and help with dinner service and clean-up, and they were wonderful too, making for an even more enjoyable stay.

The town is a 10 minute walk (at most) and you can easily find a patisserie for morning bread and croissants, and of course pain au chocolat, as well as lots of restaurants, bars and tourist-accessible shops, although it can be very difficult and frustrating to park, so don't drive unless you really need to. There is a supermarket that does have parking even closer than the town, so it's easy to stock up on supplies.

I would come back in a heartbeat, wonderful experience!

{Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Roman ruins of Glanum at the south end of the town - much larger than you would expect, and well worth the effort}

Room Tip: All of the rooms are fabulous!

We just returned from spending a week at the Mas des Jardins. The property itself was beautifully groomed, well-appointed, and located perfectly within walking distance to the village of Saint-Remy-de-Provence. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the modern conveniences you could want, and the pool area was fabulous, with an outdoor kitchen alongside it and gorgeous gardens surrounding it. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this property.

Our Family spent 2 weeks in the "Maison des Jardins" and enjoyed ourselves and the place thoroughly. The house is spacy and beautiful, the pool area and garden is exquisite and very well kept, and the service is impeccable.
The estate is an old converted house, originally from 1789, and has been restored to a status with aircon in all rooms but one - kitchen is well-equipped, both the main house kitchen and the poolside barbecue - 3 refrigerators and a wine-cabinet.
We have rented other houses (4) in the Provence area earlier - all of them having their own charm - but the entire maily (12) rated this house the best ever !

We took one of the villas ,the Mas Pascaline. It has everything for our group of 11 friends to be happy : swimming pool, pétanque, garden, sauna, mini gym, 2 highly equipped kitchens, great wooden table for meals, barbecue... All rooms have their own bathrooms. Decoration is typically Provencial and refined. We had a warm welcome by Aline the owner who was kind enough to offer us wine bottles. Location is perfect : a few minutes walk from Saint Remy, you can go there by bike put at your disposal in the villa (2 bikes), just by a supermarket Intermarche and one of the best butchers ever. The only negative point, is a big zero for the cleaning team who is supposed to clean the Mas every day : the bathrooms and rooms were dirty and the dishes smelled. The day we were leaving, they started their cleaning while we were still in the rooms!! We informed Aline about the quality of the cleaning and i believe she would have acted on this by now.

We had a relatively small group but could easily have accommodated more, such were the many relaxing areas. Those wanting to swim could swim. Kick back and read a book? Choose your spot. Wine and nibbles at sunset? Pull up a seat. Perhaps best were mornings around the kitchen table after a quick run to the local bakeries and produce shop, before setting out for a day of adventure in the surrounding countryside and cities. Gorgeous isolation yet so close to so much.
