This is the second time we have visited this hospital. We took the marked route from the centre of town, via the tourist information office, following the copies of paintings, placed at the points where Van Gogh may have painted them. We could take our dog inside. There is loads of information about his life, we loved the reproduction of his rooms and also walking around the grounds outside. In all, the visit took us about 3 hours, excellent value.

This is a beautiful look into a part of Van Gogh's life. The courtyard and garden path with pictures, gave insight into a productive period Van Gogh's life.

The place and grounds are beautiful, but the place came alive with a local guide who provided a walking tour and history. Small group of 10 and very informative.

Stunningly beautiful but the most captivating was the history of the famous and tragic patient who painted some of his best works.
