What a relief in this beautiful but snobbish provencal region! This is what happens when an Italian man falls in love with a French woman ... Here you find the best of both worlds: hospitality, culinary tradition, atmosphere and most of all: being truly welcome. The restaurant is somewhat hidden in the centre of Saint Remy de Provence - a well-kept secret. Go there if you are in the mood for honest food, surprising wines, friendship or simply to have your senses awakened. And don't leave without ordering the home-made Limoncello. It makes you believe in love again. This is how "having dinner" is meant to be - to be nourished and loved. (Even when you go there all by yourself. ). Enjoy!

Hi everyone, I am David Hastings from Newmarket Suffolk England, since 2009 when I sold my stud farm and settled in Arles I have used Trip advisor to travel around France and honestly its a good web site for travellin if you do not want to be scammed.
Interested by the good and bad reviews of this restaurant I decided to go and have a look with Sarah and our 4 kids. I discovered something exraordinary a Restaurant and a fashion shop. We had dinner in a romantic and quiet courtyard away from the noisy main road.
The food was very good ! John and Rupert had the 18E menu it was plentiful and good, for Chelsea and Mary, I ordered the 9E menu enfant, one with spaghetti the other with a sort of big stuffed sandwich, nce again very good.
Sarah and I had dinner from the main card (you have a choice of 12 different dishes) otherwise the Italian owner proposes you the daily suggestions (a bit expensive 23/25E).
Interesting by the way that the Chef dresses his plates and mixs the flavours.
TO RESUME I'LL GIVE AN A+ !

Everything was tasteless, fillet mignon seems to be pork in this restaurant and THE canard was raw.We hoped dessert would make it up, another disapointment: not fresh pannacotta. My advice don't waste your evening and money here!

We've lived for a year and a half in France and ate here following good reviews on this site. The meal was nothing special at all for adults, and a rip off for children. The 'child menu' contained smoked ham and was only availble to children under six. By the time we got the menus we had been served appetizers making it hard to leave when we found nothing on the menu to suit our kids. We ended up with a huge serving of plain pasta and a bowl of very ordinary bolognese sauce between our twin 7 year olds (everything else on the menu over-complicated and even more expensive) for 15 euros. The restaurant did agree to them sharing it, but added on an extra 3 euros to the cover price for the privelege! Tons was left. Our menu was first two courses only, no choice to take main course and pudding. We ate in the patio - air conditioned room inside was very cold - which was effectively enclosed by awnings and there was a lot of cigarette smoke. We can't understand the good reviews here - there are much better meals to be eaten for this price in France - steer clear!

ArteModa is a gem. The owner/host was warm and welcoming, he prepared a special risotto which was not on the menu. The courtyard is a charming oasis and a must if outdoor dining is feasible. Portions are large--most pasta dishes could and should be split. Food is fresh and tasty.
