This is such a nice hotel, spotlessly clean, pleasant room, friendly staff and excellent value.

It is also in St Remy, a lovely small town full of restaurants and atmosphere.

My only criticism: it's a bit of a walk into town - about 20 minutes - and not a very nice walk.

But then the town is a bit noisy, so the sleep quality here is good.

Nice breakfast with decent coffe, secure parking and rooms with their own balconies or small piece of garden.

We stayed for two single nights, a week apart. Booked with the Hotel via its web site and received quick confirmation. We paid 68E per night, we did not have breakfast. The Hotel has a large swimming pool, which we were too busy to utilise. The staff were friendly, the room adequate, slightly dated but comfortable and extremely quiet. The Hotel is in a no through road about 10 minutes’ walk to the city centre. We found this ideal as parking in St Remy is difficult. We enjoyed two lovely meals, the first at L’ Estagnol. Fabulous garden setting and very well presented 34E three course meal, (there is also a 26E menu). Highly recommended. Secondly at La Forge, a 17.5 euro three course meal, tasty and enjoyable, again recommended as a less expensive choice.
We recommend the Hotel, it is quiet, comfortable and very good value.

Great Hotel with very nice staff.
Our room was clean and the bathroom was really nice and with modern design. Our double-bed room was small, but enough for holiday stay. With a small balcony overlooking the garden. In the evenings It was quiet and peaceful with birds singing on the trees around! Just what you need for relax after day of sightseeing!
We had our holidays in the peak off season, so there were not many people around. In the mornings we had the swimming pool and whole pool area for ourselves :)) The gorgeous garden with lots of places to sit and relax!
The Hotel is based in the heart of west Provence, so it is close to places such as Avignon, Le Baux de Provence, Nimes, and many many more beautiful places. St. Remy city centre is around 15 min walk.
And one more thing - the best breakfast we have ever had during our Holidays in France.
I've almost forgot - FREE WiFi for hotel residents! Very nice :)))

No air conditioning.
It wasn't a problem for us, as we were there in early June, so the weather wasn't too hot. BTW - after a day you adjust to the high temperature, so we didn't even think about having air conditioning and there are shutters on the window, so it is really cool inside.

Lack of table on the balcony... sometimes you would like to seat, eat and drink on the balcony, but there are only chairs there...

Anything else was perfect!

Room Tip: Rooms on the first floor have only small balcony, while the basement ones have much larger terrace s...

A wonderful find. Very quite and peaceful. Our room opens onto a peaceful garden. The staff doesn't speak much English, but are very nice and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The room is relatively small but nice and well laid out. The bathroom is tiny but functional. Breakfast is very nice and the breakfast area is pleasent. There is plenty of parking. A car is necessary because of the distance to St Remy. Parking in St Remy can be difficult. All in all, this is a great find at a very reasonable rate.

Good location for side trips to Avignon, Arles, and the Roman Aqueduct northwest of Avignon (which was a little further out but okay with our rental car). Great if you have a rental car. A two story quiet and clean hotel with a friendly owner. We were there on a family trip in March in room 8. All rooms face green spaces...there is little or no road traffic. This was like a European 4-star hotel. We liked the relaxful quiet atmosphere. We had dinner in St-Remy. Don't forget to visit on the south side of Remy , the location and room where Van Gogh was in a mental hospital where he painted many of his paintings and which is still used for teaching the mentally handicapped. Also see the Roman arch and ruins outside of town.

Room Tip: All rooms seem very good.

Really very comfortable with great breakfasts.
While it was a bit outside St Remy itself, it was still fairly convenient to the town as well as the surrounding areas. But you will need to have your own transport. Having access to the garden, from the room allowed us to spread out a bit, which was great.

Room Tip: If you want to spread out a bit (as a family), as for a room that has access to the garden, rather t...

I chose this hotel simply because it offers free parking and free wireless Internet, two essential facilities for traveling comfortably and economically.

The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. Rooms are basic but clean.

The staff is EXTEREMLY helpful ; they've provided an electric outlet for our Laptop since France socket differs from US and other European countries !
They also sent my forgotten baggage to my home address FREE of charge and for that they deserve my humble review.

Thank you once again !
