We went here for a family meal to celebrate a birthday. We were seated in the main courtyard which although a little 'tight' was nice. I can imagine on really warm evenings it becomes a bit of a heat-trip but for us, it was about perfect.
The menu is fairly extensive with something to suit everyone. There are two fixed price menus, one around €23 and the other, €28. If you prefer to mix and match, all the dishes are available separately (obviously at a higher price).
Starters for our meal ranged from a Salad to local specialities such as a fish soup and an baked aubergine dish.... all were enjoyed. For main course there was Mixed Grill (Chicken, Steak & Lamb) served with vegetables, a local fish dish and a provençal stew known as 'Le Gardianne de Taureau' which is a rich 'bull (beef)' stew cooked in a black olive & wine sauce which was served with Tagliatelle. Finally to finish the meal, Ice cream and a chocolate fondant followed by Coffee.
All people in the party were happy with their food. I had the 'Gardianne de Taureau' which was utterly devine and by far the best 'version' of this classic Camarguaise dish that I've eaten.
Overall, service was excellent, food was excellent & value was excellent. A fantastic evening was had by all.
As mentioned by other reviewers, if you want a 'nice' table, it's advisable to book well in advance to avoid madame seating you inside or in the street!
