“Dull and Disappointing.”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

I have spent quite a deal of time in the south of France and visited many fascinating sites. Musee Nostrodamus is not one of them. The museum has a boring and dull apearance with little in the way of presentation to excite the visitor. I expected a lot more by way of historical documents and sketches of Nostrodamus but this was not to be.
Can't say much more in its favour. The Museum was unspectactular. I had the impression the French were having difficulty collating a lot of information about this man of mystery. I was also disappointed with the Salon de Provence village. Some of the neighbouring streets had me on edge.

“Don't expect a metaphysical experience”
Reviewed June 8, 2011

Much more has been made of his life and prophecies than can be sufficiently represented in this quaint little diarama of a house tour. There are many stairs, and nowhere to sit..Not for the elderly. The fact that the house IS interesting is interrupted by the often tacky production values and wax figurines depicting Nostradamus' life. I would say, "Go, don't take the tour, but buy the T-shirt, coz the T-shirt is great, I kid you not."
