Thank you for your feedback
A bit small rooms but containing everything you need and clean. Good services: 24h reception desk and good breakfast buffet ready early in the morning. I went from Italy and had to stop over for one night to travel further for spain
We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. On holiday from Australia, we were driving to Nice and chose to stop over in Salon de Provence. For us, the easy, free car parking was significant. It’s about a 1-2 km walk into the historic city centre, but we found it a pleasant way to get there, and walked in and out on both of our days there.
Our room was on the smaller side, but modern, comfortable and well fitted out.
The Ibis kitchen was great for us – good meals at a reasonable price – we didn’t want to be travelling far to or from for our evening meal. A special mention to our waiter, Laurent, whose friendly manner made our stay even more enjoyable.
The nice things:
Clean and rooms cleaned daily
The bad stuff
Tiny room, just like etap sized - only the bathroom is bigger
Breakfast at 10euro and not a single vegetable. Only boiled eggs, some sausages, jambon, 2 types of cheese, yogurt, flakes, dried fruit, jams, honey, pancakes and madelaines. Same daily.
Location is just 15 minutes by foot from entrance in salon de provence
I take notes of your remarks.
It is true that our rooms do not have the sizes of rooms built currently he should know that our hotel has more than 30 years and built on the standards of the time. Unfortunately I can not "push the walls", then it is through our clean and service that we do everything to satisfy our customers and not the size of the rooms, which we know is a handicap for us.
For vegetables at breakfast is not in the concept of Ibis but I would be remiss to do back up the chain.
with my thanks
To be honest, prior IBIS hotels I have used I have not been too impressed with, but this one was very good.
Typical of this design, the lobby, bar and restaurant all blend into one, but this was no real issue and there is a pool which was very nice to sit round eating breakfast.
The main road runs alongside the pool, about 10 metres so a little noisy, but did not stop me sitting there.
Rooms clean and spacious enough for a couple of nights. WiFi available, but had to log in every time I went back on so a bit tedious.
Staff friendly and helpful, and no problems to speak English with me.
It is right next door to a "La Boucherie" and across the road to a McDonald's so options if you do not want to eat "in the lobby",
je vous remercie pour vos commentaire que je ne manquerai à partager avec l'ensemble des équipes.
Hotel good for short visits we were 3 nights and out mainly with Grand daughter we were visiting Hoetel was being refurbished and we were unaware of this until arrival
Had asked for accessible bathroom as I am disabled had step in shower but no rails
Cannot comment on facilities due to refurbishment but continental breakfast was good and we would have appreciated tea making facilities in room
