Strange. Very strange. But perhaps worth a visit simply because this place is odd. We took to tripadvisor to find local bars abs this popped up. Plus we'd just eaten at the Biarritz across the road so figured we'd popped in. Imagine a bar built 30years ago and every trinket, souvenir and just plain rubbish staying exactly where it was placed and never having been moved. This place was cluttered to say the least.
The music was odd, with German techno seeping into 80s French pop with ease, all played via an iPad and what may win the award for "most random eclectic music collection ever".
In the corner was a frail looking guy in his 60s with a massive hipster beard sipping his beer and staring into space as if he'd "seen things no man should have ever seen" and was shell shocked by it all decades later.

All in all, very odd and depending on what you are looking for on an evening I'd say check it out.

We were in Marseilles for my Birthday/Rugby and stumbled across Bar L'Unic purley by chance on Friday night (Night before my Birthday that turned into my BDay and almost the day after) great Blues, Jazz and Rock and Roll Music played all night on a CD player with rack of CD's behind Bar, the old fasion way of playing music. Bar Staff were great fun and very generous and very professional, speaking several languages including Swaheeli, went back for drinks on Saturday and Sunday where staff and locals had changed but were as nice and great fun.
Highly recomend if you have never found an authentic still in the 60's time capsule Bar
