great location along harbour not too close to noise and scenic views. check in simple and efficient there is a deposit 50 euro a night on check in but refunded upon check out. beds are very comfortable. sixth floor great harbour side view from some rooms. pool was very nice with bar but no snacks available at bar I found. staff have all the answers for every question regarding area or arranging a taxis etc. staff are highly efficient

Room Tip: sixth floor for a glimpse of harbour on the left side of building

No idea why anyone would say anything negative about this superb hotel. Staff were perfect - friendly, helpful, charming and totally professional - location is amazing and the breakfast was sublime. Pool area is lovely and well looked after by the two lads who move umbrellas, bring food and drinks etc with the greatest courtesy. You just feel totally looked after and we will definitely be coming back. We splashed out and had a port view - totally worth it to wake up to that every morning.

Room Tip: Worth paying extra for the sea view - although the road is busy, the double glazing keeps the noise out. Close the curtains fully

We paid a premium to upgrade to a suite with a sea view at around the cost of £450+ per night. With such a price tag, and the hotel brand one should expect good service. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to live up to basic standards of service. Because the hotel was busy, housekeeping neglected to attend to our room. Upon returning to our room after lunch, we noticed the room had not been seen to. As such we spoke to reception who told us it would be done by 15:00. Upon returning from the pool at 16:30 our room had not been seen to. Again we spoke to reception upon leaving for dinner and told it would be done at 18:00. At 20:00 we arrived and it still not been done. At this point we told reception we had to put the children to bed so could not have it seen to, but want to see the manager in the morning. We ran out of toiletries and toilet paper! These are not things you should have to make a special request for in a hotel of this standard and price tag.

In the morning we spoke to the manager who was pleasant and admitted they had made a mistake. We asked if this would happen again as it is a busy hotel, and if it did, we would prefer to move to the Sofitel up the road departing ways. We were assured it would not happen again and offered a 40% refund on that night. We accepted. One month later, there has been no refund, and Raddision Blu has not replied to our emails. This merely compounds the poor customer service and makes a mockery of the initial problem.

The issue is symptomatic of two things that combine the first is that it is a very busy hotel. The second, however, is that there appear to be two tiers of staff - ones that are qualified and good, but other (the majority we interacted with) who are inexperienced and don't care about customer service. For example, breakfast - busy - and when the restaurant manager was there it was faultless, and the customer service was good. However, for the majority of the time, there was inexperienced folk, which is why cups would run out. It is also why room service would bring meals up to the room but without cutlery - 10 minutes of waiting later, you had to go down and get them. These may seem like little issues, but they compound and rather than creating a relaxing and smooth stay they grate and make you question why you paid a premium to stay in the hotel in the first place. My suggestion is - stay somewhere else if you are looking for a hotel that gets the basics right and offers value for money (whether more expensive or less expensive).

Dear Mr Ozhassan,

Thank you for taking the time to share the detailed comments of your recent stay with us.

i need to rectify some wrong information about what you write on TripAdvisor, because you booked a suite with a sea view and you never paid for an upgrade and we never sale you any upgrade.
I replied to your email the same day, and i never got any answer from you, please check your email adresse or maybe on the spam.

I did request to our partner who booked your room to refund 40% as promised, my email was sent on july 13th, and you can contact me directly to provide you all the proofs.

i remain at your disposal for any further information you might need.

Yours Sincerely,

We stayed for two nights. The location was great, right at the old port. We didn't book with breakfast initially but once our check in person recommended it we actually upgraded to business and got a deal with breakfast and a port view room which was nice. The breakfast was excellent, best hotel breakfast in Europe so far with so many choices. We spent a lot of time by the pool and the bar staff there were very friendly also. Our check in person, Sonja was so friendly and helpful multiple times during our stay which was great. One thing I forgot to mention while there was that the wifi in our room didn't work that well but it did in the common areas. I think room 303 was the number.
