The good thing about this hotel is that it is conveniently located: 5 minutes walk to metro and Carrefour, 15 minutes walk to restaurants & shopping district, 20 minutes walk to the beach, spacious, good value too if you are not fussy.
The downside of this hotel is that the carpet is quite worn out with some parts being sticky, blanket smells of cigarette, and air-con wasn't working so well.

Perfect location: just 2 min walk to metro station and bus stop near hotel. Bus stop to Cassis also very close (just 1 stop by metro or 10-15 min. walk)
Breakfast doesn't included to price.
In room: free high-sped Wi-Fi, TV and small kitchen with equipment. You can make food yourself.
At the ground floor thee is vending machine with snack, drink and pasta (for microwave oven).
There is small pool also.
It was my perfect stay in Marseille

We stayed as a group of friends there and in terms of value, it was perfect since we were staying for only one night. The location was not central but it was ok for us since we didn't walking for a bit. However, the one thing that totally threw me off was the fact that the reception was closd from 12h to 2pm! We could leave the hotel but not re-enter! I've honestly never seen this anywhere... Also, the was no Internet in the rooms...

Stayed for a week in March 2012. The hotel is old and rundown. Badly in need of renovations. The carpet is threadbare, bedspread unwashed for many months, and dirty grout in the bathroom. Rooms are very small. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly. Suitable for Backpackers only.

Nice welcome from the staff...then rapidly down hill from there.Clearly someone had smoked in the room before I had it and that smell permeated even the shabby carpets which looked as though they had absorbed every smell and substance known to man. Not recommendable for business travellers unless a penchant for dilapidated rooms, rusting facilities and comically small beds are required.

We had 2 nights here during May 2011-conveniently situated for transport & evening meals although we did not have breakfast included. The room was provided with crockery, cutlery & a microwave - but nothing to wash or dry dishes.
The beds were rock hard & I had to use the bedcovering underneath the sheet to enable a night's sleep.
Staff were pleasant but not overly helpful.
