From the moment we arrived the service at this hotel could not be faulted. The overall finish of the hotel itself community areas and rooms is superb.Only the best furnishings have been used. If you are looking for top quality Spa facilities this hotel is for you.

Special mention must go to Audrey the top quality consignee who can recommend local attractions and book restaurants for you. She kindly booked tables for us at a local and lively bar/restaurant and at the fantastic L'epusette famed for its bouillabaisse

We really liked this hotel its central location and ambiance. It can be thoroughly recommended for both business and pleasure. Its easy to walk to the harbor, restaurants and church

Room Tip: Rooms facing the harbour and museum are great. Ours had a balcony which was very relaxing

We visited the Hotel Dieu a few weeks after it opened. The location cannot be beat for exploring the city. The hotel is very impressive and the rooms well-equipped--and new. The only problem was that there were some problems with the plumbing with a very distinct smell of sewage in the lobby. The pool area was also very awkward. You have to go down and elevator, up an elevator. The spa crew both times to the pool were not very welcoming. I was with a 9-year child, and they asked if she had showered. A bit awkward. I do speak French, so I explained that we did, and still there was a bit of attitude. Anyway, a good hotel, that will likely be better with age. Breakfast was good, but a bit cramped in the buffet room. Such a big hotel, and they cramp the breakfast room? Anyway, good choice.

I have been here a few nights in June for a business meeting.
The location is the best possible in Marseilles and the historical building is really impressive.
You get all you can expect from a 5 star hotel, so no great disappointment there. However two very personal comments:
1-Taking an historical building a few hundreds years old and transforming it into a "design-minimalist" hotel (at least in the interior decoration) can be questionable. Personally I prefer either old classic hotels (outside and inside) or truly new architectural hotels. I don't particularly liked the blend which was adopted here
2-A bit of inexperience in the staff here and there: I needed to print a document of 30 pages and it appeared to be a really really difficult thing to achieve!
Nevertheless this is a great hotel and it fully deserves its 5 stars!

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience on Trip Advisor.

We were happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us.

Our apologies for not having been able to print all your document rapidly. It should indeed not be a difficult thing!

The contemporary interior was chosen as contrast to the historic building, but very sober to put more emphasis on the exterior Jean Philippe Nuel, the decorator, has brought many details from Marseilles into the building.

We will be pleased to give you a show round with full explanations on your next visit!

While this hotel is only about five months old, it is a spectacular asset to Marseille. Located just
a block from the Mediterranean, it's access to many of the spectacular treats of Marseille is
perfect. The hotel itself has been beautifully decorated. You marvel at all the textures and
treatments within. There are several restaurants on premise that offer excellent menus to
appeal to all appetites. Service is very good, but they are getting better . . .still new!! A spa
is also available for those who chose to heighten their relaxation. This is a MUST stop!!

Room Tip: When you book, ask for a room with a view. They will try to upgrade you upon arrival with an addit...

Just spent three days with friends celebrating my wifes birthday. The Hotel is new, modern and perfectly located for a stay in Marseille and the staff are professional and courteous.A little secret for people reading this review go out of the gates turn right walk 500 yards and on the left is a gem of a restaurant called Le Bobolivo, the mix of this restaurant and this tremendous Hotel make this the area to stay.

Room Tip: Select a room facing the port.

Gorgeous new hotel with amazing spacious rooms and views. Stayed here only 1 night but wouldn't mind staying longer. The property is brand new and the rooms are modern and spacious. The eating area is on an outdoor terrace with an amazing view of the city. It is a large property but it has all the amenities for both business or leisure travel. The location is right in front of the port with many options for dining and shopping easily accessible via foot.

It was a little challenging getting there via car and ultimately figuring out the entrance of the hotel but we were very pleased once we arrived.

Would highly recommend.

Bran new, incredible architecture, walking distance from the new Mucem, very warm welcome by all the staff. Special mention for Audrey Berr, the highly learned concierge.
My advice, choose a room with a view on the Vieux Port and Notre Dame de la Garde. Extraordinary.
