The hotel opened in June 2012 so everything is still brand new. There is no sign yet on the outside of the hotel, so you really have to look out for the street number.
It is centrally located 5 minutes’ walk from the port, a few minutes to the metro station and just opposite a shopping centre. There are plenty of small cafés and restaurants around. It is not the best of areas but it is OK if you are only planning on spending 1-3 nights in Marseille.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was given a room on the 4th floor facing a back street. The room was modern, clean and had a TV (only French TV stations), safe, tea & coffee making facilities and a nice bathroom with a shower. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Breakfast was included in the price of the room. The breakfast room is small and choice is very limited. It costs €13 if not included, which is far too much for what is on offer.
The hotel was very good value for money.
